B1 Archiver is a free archive manager for Windows, Linux, Mac and Android. You can use it to compress, decompress, and encrypt files. Supports b1, zip, jar, xpi, rar, 7z, arj, bz2, cab, deb, gzip, tgz, iso, lzh, lha, lzma, rpm, tar, xar, z, dmg file formats. Supports split password protected archiving. It can be encrypted with 256-bit AES encryption with a password.
Install B1 Free Archiver on Ubuntu
The B1 Free Archiver is available as an Ubuntu snap package. It can be installed from the terminal application. Open a terminal (ctrl + alt + t) and run it under the B1 FreeArchiver snap install command.
sudo snap install b1freearchiver
Then enter the Ubuntu user password if required. After installation, you can open it with the following command.
