Check system information with Hardinfo GUI – How to install Hardinfo on Ubuntu
Hardinfo is a free open source system information and benchmarking tool for Linux. Comes with a nice graphical user interface. You can use it to get hardware and some software information about your system. This is a clean and neat graphical UI application in this category. All system reports can be generated in HTML or plain text. Some other important features are synchronizing benchmark results and getting information about remote computers. Released under the GNU General Public License.
Install Hardinfo on Ubuntu
Hardinfo is available from the Ubuntu Universe repository. You can install it from your terminal. Open a terminal (ctrl + alt + t) and run the following command.
sudo apt update
sudo apt install hardinfo
If you want to enable the Ubuntu Universe repository, first run the following command and then try the above.
sudo add-apt-repository universe
You can also install it from the Ubuntu Software Center. A search for hardinfo will show hardinfo as the name of the system profiler and benchmark.

Get Ubuntu hardware information
Run this command on your terminal to launch Hardinfo
hardinfo
