Clippy is back in the latest update to Windows 11

“Much has been said about the new emoji in Windows 11. From the initial excitement when the 3D emojis were first shown to the disappointment when they were flattened, we heard it all. Now the conversation can end, because the new emojis have officially arrived in Windows 11 – Clippy and everything.

“These new fluent-style emojis released today in Windows 11 feel personal and familiar, two of our design principles for Windows 11,” Microsoft said in a blog entry .

While the company might not have created the 3D emoji we all loved, the company spent a lot of time working on the new ones. “A team of emoji designers, program managers, font experts and developers focused on developing this new emoji system. From color palettes to modular functions, designers have developed a system that can be adapted to the extensive Unicode emojis, ”said Microsoft.

If you want to experience the new Windows 11 emoji, you’ll need the optional Windows 11 November 2021 Preview. Go to Settings and then click “Update & Security,” followed by “Windows Update.” Finally, click “Check for Updates” and then download the Windows 11 November 2021 preview version.

Once you have the update, you can press Windows + Period keys to open the Emoji Picker. From there, you can choose from a variety of new emoji options in Windows 11. You can even try out the clippy emoji mixed in there, which is pretty much fun.
