End of support for Ubuntu 19.10 Eoan Ermine

Ubuntu 19.10 Eoan Ermine has ended support on July 17, 2020. We recommend upgrading to Ubuntu20.04 LTS.

Ubuntu 19.10 was released 9 months ago on October 17, 2019. It is supported for 9 months as a release other than LTS. Currently not supported by Canonical. Security and package updates to 19.10 are not accepted.

End of support for Ubuntu 19.10 Eoan Ermine

Users are alleged to upgrade to Ubuntu 20.04 (5-year supported LTS release). To get started, do the following steps one at a time:

  1. Disable 3rd party repositories in Software & Updates -> Other Software.
  2. Launch Software Updater, check for updates, and then install all updates.
  3. You can restart your computer to complete the update.
  4. Launch Software Updater again and you will see an option to upgrade to Ubuntu 20.04
