Firefox 73 released with global zoom level setting
Mozilla Firefox 73.0 was released today. The new release includes new global zoom level settings and high contrast mode improvements.
Per-site zoom is still available, but Firefox 73.0 adds a new global default zoom level setting. about:preferences
Under “Language and appearance”.
Low vision users rely on Windows high contrast mode. Websites in high contrast mode are now easier to read without disabling the background image.
Firefox 73.0 Release highlights:

- WebRender will be deployed on laptops equipped with Nvidia with a drive newer than 432.00 and a drive smaller than the screen resolution of 1920X1200.

Download / install Firefox on Ubuntu.
Ubuntu 20.04 already included a new Firefox package in the main repository, but Firefox 73.0 can be upgraded via the Software Updater utility within a few days for Ubuntu 16.04, Ubuntu 18.04, and Ubuntu 19.10. Check here.
Alternatively, you can install the Firefox 72 Snap package (running in the sandbox) from Ubuntu Software. It can be installed with pre-installed Firefox and will be automatically updated to the latest version.
In addition, the Mozilla Firefox website offers a non-installed (extract executable and run) tarball for all Linux desktops.
