Gaphor is a free open source UML and SysML modeling software for Linux, Windows and Mac OS. Written in Python and released under the Apache-2.0 license. Install Gaphor on Ubuntu Linux
Gaphor can be installed via portable AppImage, flatpak and pip. Follow the steps below to install Gaphor on your system.
Install Gaphor via AppImage.
Download Gaphor in .AppImage file format from the download link above and save it in your download folder. The file name downloaded here is “Gaphor-2.2.1-x86_64.AppImage”. You can change the following commands based on the file name. Open a terminal and run these Gaphor run commands one by one.
sudo chmod +x ~ Gaphor-2.2.1-x86_64.AppImage

If you don’t have flatpak and flathub installed on your system, follow the links above to install flatpak. Reboot the system after installing flatpak. Then open a terminal application and run this Gaphorflatpak installation command.
flatpak install flathub org.gaphor.Gaphor
You can then use this flatpak command to run Gaphor.
flatpak run org.gaphor.Gaphor
Install Gaphor via PIP Python.
First, install pip Python Package Manager on your system. Follow this link for pip installation.

After installing pip, reboot your system and use this command in your terminal to install Gaphor.
sudo pip install gaphor
