How to install 1Password on Ubuntu via the official repository

1Password Password Manager officially adds Linux support. Here’s how to install it on Ubuntu 20.04 via the apt repository:

1Password is a password manager developed by AgileBits Inc. It provides a place for users to store various passwords, software licenses, and other sensitive information in a virtual vault locked with a PBKDF2 protected master password. By default, this encrypted vault is stored on your company’s servers for a monthly fee.

1Password is available as a containerized Snap package. If you’re happy with snapping, skip this tutorial and install Password Manager from your Ubuntu software.
