AnyDesk is a unique remote desktop software for Windows, Linux, MacOS, freeBSD, Raspberry pi, chrome OS, Android and iOS. Evaluation and personal use are free, and there are paid plans. AnyDesk can be used as a remote support and monitoring application. It uses the home-built DeskRT codec to transfer image data between computers over a local network at 60fps with a low bandwidth of 100kB / sec.
Anydesk with TLS 1.2 and RSA 2048 asymmetric key exchange encryption for connections. It also provides file transfer and remote printing capabilities.
Install AnyDesk Remote Desktop on Ubuntu Linux
AnyDesk is available in native .deb and Flatpak package file formats. You can install it from the terminal application.
Install AnyDesk via DeB.

In the terminal app (ctrl + alt + t), execute the following commands one by one. Here, “anydesk_6.0.1-1_amd64.deb” is the download file name. You can change the following commands based on the downloaded file name.
sudo dpkg -i anydesk_6.0.1-1_amd64.deb
sudo apt install -f
It can be opened from all application menus.
Install AnyDesk via Flatpak.
Install flatpak on Ubuntu
If you don’t have flatpak and flathub installed on your system, follow the “Install flatpak on ubuntu” link above to install it on your system. Also, reboot after installation. If it is already installed, skip above and run under the AnyDeskflatpak installation command in your terminal.
flatpak install flathub com.anydesk.Anydesk
You can run AnyDesk flatpak with the following command.
flatpak run com.anydesk.Anydesk
Just ask for your partner’s AnyDesk ID and connect.
