AnyDesk is my favorite proprietary remote desktop application for connecting to remote Linux and Window computers. AnyDesk provides smooth, seamless remote access to your computer through the WAN. In this article, we will install AnyDesk on a Fedora 31/30/29 desktop.

Install AnyDesk on Fedora 31/30/29 desktop
We will install Install AnyDesk on the Fedora 31/30/29 Desktop Yum repository. You can also install AnyDesk on Fedora 31/30/29 by manually downloading the rpm package and installing it using yum or rpm commands.
Step 1: Add the AnyDesk repository
Add the repository to your system using the following shared commands.
cat > /etc/yum.repos.d/AnyDesk-Fedora.repo << "EOF" [anydesk] name=AnyDesk Fedora - stable baseurl=http://rpm.anydesk.com/fedora/$basearch/ gpgcheck=1 repo_gpgcheck=1 gpgkey=https://keys.anydesk.com/repos/RPM-GPG-KEY EOF
Step 2: Install AnyDesk on Fedora 31/30/29
After adding the AnyDesk repository, run the following command to install AnyDesk on Fedora 31/30/29.
sudo dnf makecache sudo dnf install -y redhat-lsb-core anydesk
You can check the version of AnyDesk installed using the following command:

Step 3: Launch AnyDesk on Fedora 31/30/29
AnyDesk service will start automatically after successful installation.
$ systemctl status anydesk.service ● anydesk.service - AnyDesk Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/anydesk.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled) Active: active (running) since Fri 2019-10-18 08:17:35 EAT; 1min 20s ago Main PID: 7681 (anydesk) Tasks: 4 (limit: 11512) Memory: 16.2M CGroup: /system.slice/anydesk.service ├─7681 /bin/sh /usr/bin/anydesk --service └─7683 /usr/libexec/anydesk --service Oct 20 09:27:55 fed30.novalocal systemd: Started AnyDesk.
The service should also be enabled.
$ systemctl is-enabled anydesk.service enabled
Launch AnyDesk from the CLI and desktop or CLI.
Connect to it using the AnyDesk address of the remote system.
Remote users also need your AnyDesk address to control your computer from a remote location. Use AnyDesk on Fedora Linux desktop.
