AnyDesk is a remote server management tool, which enables you to connect to a remote system and control it as smoothly and seamlessly as logging directly into the system. It can run on Windows, Linux and macOS. This tutorial will show you how to install AnyDesk on Kali Linux Desktop system.

Install AnyDesk on Kali Linux

The AnyDesk software package for Kali Linux can be found in the APT repository. Add the AnyDesk upstream APT repository to Kali Linux, and then install AnyDesk from the repository.

Step 1: Update the Debian system

Update the APT package installed on your Kali Linux:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install -y gnupg2

Step 2: Add AnyDesk repository Kali Linux

Add the AnyDesk repository to Kali Linux:

sudo sh -c 'echo "deb http://deb.anydesk.com/ all main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/anydesk.list'

Import the AnyDesk GPG key to sign the APT software package.

wget -qO - https://keys.anydesk.com/repos/DEB-GPG-KEY | sudo apt-key add -

Step 3: Install AnyDesk on Kali Linux

Use the apt package manager to install AnyDesk on Kali Linux.

sudo apt -y update && sudo apt -y install anydesk

Confirm the package installation.

$ apt policy anydesk
