After updating the packages and repositories, we need to download the installation package from the official website. So use the following command to download the same.

As you can see below, we downloaded the package without permission to run and cannot install it without permission to run. Therefore, use the following command to assign execute permission.

Now we can install the package. So let’s go ahead and install the same with the following command.

After running the command above, just click Forward to continue the installation.
- Then accept the Cutegram Messenger license agreement (alternative to the Telegram app) and click Forward.
- Set the installation directory for the Cutegram Messenger supporting file. Here I go with the standard path so click on Forward.
- Now Cutegram Messenger (alternative to the telegram app) is ready for installation. So click on Forward Button.
- The installation has been completed.
Now we need to install a dependency package for the Cutegram Messenger package (alternative to the telegram app) to run the application properly. It is imperative. So use the following command to install the same.

Now we can open the application. To do this, we have to go to the installation path of the application. See the following command.

Use the following command to open the Cutegram Messenger application (alternative to the telegram app). You need to select your country from the list and enter your cell phone number to register.
