Entropy Piano Tuner is a free and open source piano tuning application for Linux, Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android. Use this application to tune your piano with the new entropy method. The Entropy Piano Tuner uses the Monte Carlo algorithm. According to its website, it records all the keys of the piano and determines the spectrum of their higher partials (overtones). These power spectra are filtered, summed and used in the entropy calculation. It works in 3 simple steps: 1. Key recording 2. Entropy minimization 3. Tuning based on calculated pitch We have released the open source GPL-3.0 + license.
