Install Knowte Note Taken on Ubuntu
For Ubuntu installations, you can install in the portable AppImage, snap, and native deb file formats.
Install Knowte via snap.
Knowte’s note-taking application available in the snap store. You can easily install from the terminal app. Open the Ubuntu terminal app (ctrl + alt + t) and run the following command. If needed, enter the Ubuntu user password to confirm the installation.
sudo snap install knowte
You can open it from the application menu.

Install Knowte via DEB.
Download the .deb installation file for the Knowte note-taking application from the download folder above. And save it to you download folder. The downloaded file name is “Knowte_2.0.3_amd64.deb“It depends on the version number. Just change the following command based on the filename you downloaded. Run all commands one by one in the terminal.
sudo dpkg -i Knowte_2.0.3_amd64.deb
sudo apt-get install -f
Install Knowte via AppImage.
Download the latest Knowte note-taking application in .AppImage file format from the download link above and save it to your system. download folder. Then run the following command based on the downloaded file name. For meKnowte-2.0.3.AppImage“
sudo chmod +x ~ Knowte-2.0.3.AppImage
