How to update Fedora Use the Terminal

If you use the terminal frequently, Fedora also allows you to update apps through a command line interface (CLI), similar to updating Arch Linux.

Enter “terminal” in the activity search bar. Click the Terminal icon to open it.

Open the terminal in Fedora.

Copy and paste the following command into Terminal and hit Enter.

                      sudo dnf upgrade

You will be asked to enter your password. Type it in and hit enter. the dnf upgrade Command downloads and installs all updatable app packages.
