Installing MySQL Workbench on Centos 7

Install EPEL repository (Additional packages for Enterprise Linux):

wget https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/7/x86_64/e/epel-release-7-5.noarch.rpm
yum install ./epel-release-7-5.noarch.rpm

Install the MySQL repository:

wget http://repo.mysql.com/mysql-community-release-el7-5.noarch.rpm
wget http://repo.mysql.com/mysql-community-release-el7.rpm
yum install ./mysql-community-release-el7.5.noarch.rpm
yum install ./mysql-community-release-el7.rpm 

Install MySQL Workbench.

yum install mysql-workbench

Installing additional dependencies (you will be informed in error messages if you run mysql-workbench)

yum install libzip.x86_64
yum install tinyxml.x86_64

You can now start MySQL Workbench using the menu: Applications / Programming / MySQL Workbench
