Midterm is a free note-taking application for Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS and Android. This note-taking application focuses primarily on education and study. The desktop version is free for everyone, but the mobile version is not. You can use it to write notes, create quizzes and smart flashcards. You can use the built-in role system to sync your notes, create nested folders, collaborate and study with your friends. Some other useful features are dark mode support, which comes with a visual text editor and many modes. All notes can be read offline.
Install Midterm on Ubuntu
The intermediate note-taking application is available as a snap package and a flat pack package. The terminal application makes it easy to install on your system.
Install Midterm via Snap.
Open a terminal application and run the following intermediate snap install command.
sudo snap install midterm
This will install the latest version of Midterm on Ubuntu. You can use this command to open it from the show application menu or terminal.
Install Midterm via Flatpak.
If you don’t have flatpak, you need to install it on your system. Follow the link below. Reboot the system after installing flatpak.

How to install flatpak
Open a terminal and run it under the intermediate installation command.
flatpak install flathub app.midterm.MidtermDesktop
You can use this command to run an intermediate note-taking application.
flatpak run app.midterm.MidtermDesktop
