Macchina, like Neofetch, is another command-line tool for fetching basic system information on Linux, but with a focus on performance and minimalism.
The software is written in Rust and displays basic system information such as hostname, manufacturer, kernel version, uptime, desktop environment, processor, memory / battery status and more. Macchina is considerably faster, 8.53 ± 0.72 times faster than neofetch.

How to install Macchina on Ubuntu:
The existing software can be installed from crates.io.
1. First open the terminal and run the command to install the cargo.
sudo apt install cargo
2. Next, use the command to install the tool.
cargo install macchina
Once installed, you can run ~ / .cargo / bin / macchina with the required flags.
If you use the command macchina instead, run the command to edit the user’s profile.
Then add the following line to add the “.cargo / bin” directory to your PATH.
# set PATH so it includes user's private bin if it exists if [ -d "$HOME/.cargo/bin" ] ; then PATH="$HOME/.cargo/bin:$PATH" fi
Log out and log back in to apply your new PATH.
To remove the software via freight, run the following command:
cargo uninstall macchina
If you don’t want to use the cargo, just use the command to delete the cargo.
sudo apt remove --purge cargo
