Mozilla Firefox 84.0 released with native Apple Silicon Support

Mozilla Firefox Web Browser 84.0 is now available for download.

Firefox 84 is a big release. WebRender is enabled by default in Linux Gnome on X to speed up page rendering. For Wayland sessions, you can manually enable the following features: about:config Page, search, enable gfx.webrender.all ..

The new browser release also includes native support for new versions of the M1 processor for Apple Silicon hardware, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini.

Other features Firefox 84.0 include:
