Fedora 31 is officially released and available for download. We can upgrade to version 31 using the command line method or graphical upgrade method on the workstation.

Upgrade Fedora 30 to Fedora 31

Use graphical methods

  • Launch GNOME software application or select software from GNOME Shell
  • Select the Update tab in the GNOME software, and the screen will prompt you that Fedora 31 is available
  • If no updates are available, wait for a while and then try to reload the button.
  • If an update is found, download the upgrade package and restart the system from the GNOME software to complete the upgrade.

Using the command line
