Hashbrown is a free open source hash application for Linux. Hash Brown allows you to generate a new hash of a file and compare the two file hashes to see the downloaded file hash. It currently supports MD5, SHA1 and SHA256 hashes. A simple and easy-to-use GUI tool. Written in Crystal and released under the AGPL-3.0 license. Hash Brown is a new program and is still under active development.
Install Hash Brown on Ubuntu
Hashbrown is available as a flatpak package for Ubuntu. If you already have flatpak and flathub installed on your system, follow the Hash Brown installation instructions below or follow the links below to install flatpak and flathub on your Ubuntu system.

How to install flatpak and flathub
Open a terminal console application and run this Hashbrown flatpak installation command. It installs the latest Hash Brown on your system.
flatpak install flathub dev.geopjr.Hashbrown
After installation, you can use this command to run Hash Brown.
flatpak run dev.geopjr.Hashbrown
Just open the file in your browser and generate the hash.
