XenCenter / XCP-ng Center is a Windows-based management tool for XCP-ng and Citrix®XenServer®Hypervisor environments. Using this tool, you can manage/monitor virtualized servers and resource pools in your infrastructure. It also allows you to deploy, manage, monitor and migrate virtual machines. XCP-ng Center comes from XenCenter source code.
Xen-Orchestra is the official graphical client of XCP-ng, which is supported by several developer teams. on the other hand, XCP-ng Center It is maintained by community members in their free time and hosted by the XCP-ng project.
XenCenter / XCP-ng Center must be installed on a Windows computer that can connect to the XCP-ng / Citrix Hypervisor server via the network. Make sure that .NET Framework 4.8 or higher is installed on this system.
Step 1: Download and install XenCenter / XCP-ng Center
For XenCenter, please visit Citrix Hypervisor download page Get the latest version of XenCenter. To download the XenCenter installation files, a valid Citrix account will be required.

After downloading the file, double-click to start the installation.
Read and accept the license agreement to continue.
Click the Finish button to complete the installation and exit the installation wizard.
Launch the application after installation by going to begin Menu and type XCP-ng Center In the search box.
Disable or enable the automatic update of the XCP-ng Center application.
Step 2: Connect to Xen / XCP Hypervisor server
Click “Add server“Icon
Enter the host name or IP address of the hypervisor and the user login credentials used to connect.Username is root And the password is set during the installation of XCP-ng Hypervisor:
When adding a host for the first time, Save and restore connection status A dialog box appears. You can choose to save the server connection state, including the login credentials at startup.
If you choose to save the server connection details, please consider setting a master password to improve security.
You will be asked to enter and confirm the master password.
After the connection is successful, you should be able to see the hypervisor from the XCP-ng Center console for management.
