How to install whisker menu on Ubuntu:

When using XubuntuQA Staging PPA , There is a whiskers menu that can be updated with the Xfce 4.16 package.

The software is Developer PPA For Ubuntu 18.04, Ubuntu 20.04, Ubuntu 20.10, and Linux Mint 19.x, 20.

1. Open a terminal from the system application menu. Once open, run the command to add the PPA.

                      sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gottcode/gcppa

Enter the user password for the sudo prompt (without asterisk feedback) and press Enter to continue.

2. Next, run the commands one by one to install the application menu.

                      sudo apt update

sudo apt install xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin

Alternatively, use System Package Manager to upgrade the package.

To remove the PPA, run the following command:

                      sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:gottcode/gcppa

We do not recommend removing the whiskers menu on your Xfce desktop unless you use another application menu. However, removing the PPA will downgrade the app menu to the stock version.

                      sudo apt install ppa-purge && sudo ppa-purge ppa:gottcode/gcppa
